It was the coldest day of the year. Well, it was the first day of the year, but anyways it was cold! They put on a brave face, and I put on a pair of fingerless gloves and we headed outside to capture some of their last moments as a family of two!
At least the sun was out and shining. Here is a small look into their cold, outdoor maternity session >>
I think that will be one adorable baby girl. Not much longer, she will be making her grand entrance very soon…
I was so excited when Ginny emailed me to inquire about Maternity & possibly newborn photos. Newborn photoshoots are one of the main reasons I built my studio earlier this year
and I was dying to get more lil’ babies infront of my camera. She also was very certain she wanted maternity photos including her daughter, Briley, which made me even more excited.
Briley took a little while to warm up to me, but I kept trying & we all kept bribing. I think she did great. I hope she got her stop at Dairy Queen on the way home…
Ginny, it was great meeting your family & I cannot wait to meet your new addition soon!
Growing up in a large church you slightly remember vague memories of people who came and went, but I remember Holly & her family very well. Although her and her sisters were older than me, they always seemed so sweet and they were all beautiful.
Flash-forward years later and I receive a kind facebook message from a beautiful, pregnant woman looking for maternity session, slowly I had one of those moments – you know, the moment you realize “hey she looks familiar, but how do know her?” Well, turns out Holly had grown up (just like all of us other Word of Life 90s kiddos), gotten married, and is currently growing the most beautiful baby bump ever.
I was so honored to capture her with her beautiful pregnancy glow. From the pictures you cannot even tell we picked the hottest and most humid evening of the whole entire summer (I swear), but they both were troopers! & I am so grateful that I can add these beautiful images to my portfolio.
Congratulations Holly & Brad! I cannot wait to meet little baby Nolan.
