The other day someone asked me what I liked to photograph the most – I never have a straight answer, I love it all, but I always say 1st Birthday’s! That one never changes. I LOVE the innocence of a child and watching their reaction to the special treat in front of them.

Ava did not disappoint. She was absolutely gorgeous, gentle, and precious!

This little guys momma and I played phone tag for a few days before we finally were able to connect and schedule a session. Man, I am sure glad we did because this little man was sooooooooo stinking adorable. He was a model baby for sure. The smiles, grins, poses. His big sister was so easy to work with too. Oh my goodness! Maddie’s parents brought her to the studio the last weekend in August ~~and OH MY WORD~~ – her hair! That’s the first thing I saw! It was humid out that day and boy – her hair curled right up and she looked adorable.
