I absolutely loved shooting this session. Then finally today I got to edit it – ahhhh. My heart sung. I LOVE THIS SESSION. It was hard choosing just a few photos to share because these two rocked this session!!!

I cannot wait for their wedding next year! It is at my favorite wedding venue – the hayloft! (I may be biased considering I got married there too – haha). I am sooooo looking forward to it!
I know I’ve mentioned a few times – I adore photographing newborns. You know what else I love? When they come back to visit throughout their first year! They grow so much in that first year. Ideally, I’d love to photograph them every month, or 3 months. But if I can catch them at newborn, 6 months, and a year – I am one happy photog!
I was so excited when Grant’s momma contacted me for some 6 month photos. His eyes were so blue and his facial expression – OH MY GOODNESS>>> he was cracking me up.
It was the coldest day of the year. Well, it was the first day of the year, but anyways it was cold! They put on a brave face, and I put on a pair of fingerless gloves and we headed outside to capture some of their last moments as a family of two!
